Halloween Mini Album

This 6×6 Halloween mini album it loaded with details and spaces for pictures/journaling. I loved working with these colors together: black, white, orange, green and purple. This album is available for purchase at my Etsy Shop.

The characters and title were colored using a variety of copic markers.

The ‘B’ is acrylic and the O’s are foam letters.

The banner has pieces popped up. The haunted house was colored using copic markers.

Spiders for Halloween

I decided to make spiders today for Halloween and they are super easy!

The materials you will need to make these spiders include 2″ Styrofoam balls, 1″ Styrofoam balls, black pipe cleaners, black paint, foam paint brush and scissors. I would recommend painting the Styrofoam the day before, I waited about 5 hours and some of the paint was still coming off on my hands when adding the legs.

Take a 2″ ball and add 4 legs on each side. Each leg is half a pipe cleaner.

About half way down each leg make a bend so they will stand up.

Then take a 1″ piece of pipe cleaner and use it to attach the smaller 1″ ball to the body of the spider as the head.

The head attached to the body of the spider.

Here is my fleet of spiders. I made a total of 12 spiders. Painting time included it took me about 45 minutes. I decided to leave mine plain black because I plan on hanging them in spider webs. You could add eyes or glitter for even more detail if you wanted. I hope these inspire you to make some of your own Halloween decorations!
